To boost your TEF, focus on foods that are high in protein, fiber, and omega-3s. Some good options include chicken, vegetables, and salmon.
Tip 2: Build muscle through weightlifting
Muscle is the main driver of your metabolism, so the more lean mass you have, the higher your maintenance energy is. Resistance training, such as weightlifting, is an effective way to build muscle, stimulate growth, and increase muscle strength. Make sure to gradually increase the amount of weight you lift, take time to rest and recover, and eat a balanced diet rich in protein, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats.
